Many of you commented on my post from yesterday where I was freaking out about starting to teach a 3 week class for 45 new employees. It was essentially an anxiety attack in the form of an Oppo post.

I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you guys sooooo much! I really appreciate everything you guys said, and it definitely helped me get out of my own head and make it through the day. Starting day two, I’m much more relaxed and confident. I’m very grateful for you guys and gals. You really don’t know how much you helped me step-back and refocus on the task at hand instead of my own anxiety and realize that they’ll never know if I mess something up. Keep on being awesome Oppo. I don’t know what I’d do with you peeps.

I’ve been guilty of doing this myself. My theory is unless the brain subconsciously picks up gestures that appear to physically cram an idea inside your head, learning is impossible. Also I look cool doing that.
The nose picking is to show the Manager/VP attending the session that yeah, I run this room now. Try and stop me harvesting boogers.
